Thomas Martin is a New Jersey-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose original songs deliver fresh elements of country, folk, pop, and bluegrass. Since 2000, he has put out three independent CDs: The Flowers Fall, Under the Sun, and Electro-Magnetic.

Thomas has been performing with singer-songwriter Jeannie O'Neill and the duo are beginning work on a new CD of original material. Please visit their Myspace page!

Banding Together: A Benefit for the Spondylitis Association of America

Jeannie O'Neill and Thomas Martin are proud to be a part of Blow Up Radio's live webathon to benefit the Spondylitis Association of America, which is being broadcast on October 17, 18, and 19. They'll join a host of New Jersey performers to raise money and awareness for this disease.

Local music reviewer Al Muzer, writing for the Aquarian Weekly, said that "The Flowers Fall is a must-have collection. Martin's gentle, bittersweet muse includes comfortable, well-worn folk, country and bluegrass influences on 11 extremely well-written alt.dot tracks." After hearing Under The Sun, Rockland World Radio said that they "thoroughly enjoyed the basic honest quality of the songwriting and recording performance." In 2006, IndieMusic.com said that Electro-Magnetic "helps fulfill the promises made by The Byrds and other country-rock pioneers."

A fourth project, Monarchs, is in the works. It is an "internet-only" release, and will be available on this website in its entirety once it's complete. A new song, Somewhere In Your Eyes, is available now for streaming or download (mp3). Enjoy!
